Look out for two types of leaderboard competitions

Wager-based leaderboards

With wager-based leaderboards, you’ll earn points based on how much you wager on featured games. If there’s a mix of games included in the competition, you might earn more points on certain ones. Let’s look at a quick example.

We recently ran a $25,000 Kingdom of Horus / Reign of Anubis Leaderboard Challenge.

Here’s how points were earned:

• Players received two (2) leaderboard points for every $5 wagered on Kingdom of Horus and Reign of Anubis.
• Players received one (1) leaderboard point for every $5 wagered on Triple Coin Treasures: Long Bao Bao, Caesars Treasure Trio, and Triple Coin Treasures: Shamrock Fortunes.

Some wager-based leaderboards feature just one game and one point-to-wager ratio, but you’ll always know what you’re getting into when you opt in.

Win-based leaderboards

The mechanics of win-based leaderboards are the same as wager-based leaderboards, with one main difference. Instead of earning leaderboard points based on how much you wager, you’ll earn leaderboard points based on how much you win.

Win-based leaderboards are also tied to a specific game or a specific set of games.

Get rewarded for your reign

Most leaderboards award online casino bonuses to the top-ranked players. In the recent Kingdom of Horus / Reign of Anubis Leaderboard Challenge, we awarded $25,000 to the top 365 players.
